The sanctuary at Long’s Grove was packed for the Unity Thanksgiving Service. Preacher Billy Mobley was preaching, and I mean really preaching! It was a wonderful service. We enjoyed refreshments with friends afterwards.

We went to the First Baptist Church in West Jefferson. They were actually installing their new pastor and his first Sunday will be next week. Not a very friendly church. First and last visit.

We were honored to have Lenward, Becky and Rebekah with us this weekend. Though the temperature was quite cold (about 9 degrees), we ventured out and attended Bald Mountain Baptist Church. This church was huge, but very nice. We enjoyed the preacher a lot!
